Croatian-Chinese Business Forum

EXOR attended Croatian-Chinese Business Forum where 250 business representatives from China were present. Forum was organized as a part of official visit of Chinese president Hu Jintao to Croatia on 20 June 2009.
Business relations between Croatia and China are characterized by the constant increase of the business volume, with notable deficit on Croatian side. Last year’s total business volume was 1.9 billion US$, to which Croatian export contributed only 35 million US$.
EXOR had one-to-one talks with Chinese business representatives with special attention to revitalization projects in steel industry, where EXOR has around 20 successfully realized projects in China. Together with that, new contacts and arrangements for future cooperation were established in other business areas such as transportation and building automation.
